Double Cone Blender
Two conical sections joined by a central cylinder, rotating to fold and mix powders.
The Double Cone Blender rotates a vessel formed from two cone sections joined at a central cylinder, folding the powder bed end-to-end as it turns. The tapered geometry minimises residual hold-up, making changeover cleaning faster between batches.

Designed with cGMP and xGMP principles in mind
Construction practices are intended to align with commonly accepted xGMP expectations for pharmaceutical process equipment — crevice-free welding, cleanable surfaces and appropriate contact-part finishing. TCS does not issue regulatory certification; compliance of installed equipment within a specific facility is subject to the customer's own validation and regulatory process. Subject to process requirement.
What is the advantage of the double-cone shape?
The tapered ends reduce dead zones and residual product, making the vessel easier to empty and clean than a straight cylindrical drum.
Can intensifier bars be fitted?
Yes, internal intensifier bars are available as an optional feature for breaking up agglomerates during blending.
What batch sizes does it suit?
Working volume is sized to the customer's batch; a representative model is shown above.
