Rotary Cone Vacuum Dryer (RCVD)
A rotating cone vessel under vacuum that dries and gently blends in the same step.
The RCVD rotates a cone-shaped, jacketed vessel under vacuum, so the product is tumbled while it dries. This combined drying-and-mixing action suits heat-sensitive powders that benefit from gentle agitation rather than sitting static on a shelf.

Designed with cGMP and xGMP principles in mind
Construction practices are intended to align with commonly accepted xGMP expectations for pharmaceutical process equipment — crevice-free welding, cleanable surfaces and appropriate contact-part finishing. TCS does not issue regulatory certification; compliance of installed equipment within a specific facility is subject to the customer's own validation and regulatory process. Subject to process requirement.
How is an RCVD different from a Vacuum Tray Dryer?
An RCVD rotates the entire vessel to mix the product while drying, whereas a Vacuum Tray Dryer dries static trays on heated shelves. RCVD suits products that benefit from continuous gentle agitation.
Can it handle solvent-wet cake?
Yes, subject to solvent compatibility and hazardous-area requirements being confirmed at order stage.
What capacities are available?
Gross volumes are engineered to the customer's batch size; a representative model is shown above. Subject to process requirement.
