Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD)
Suspends wet granules in upward-flowing hot air for fast, uniform drying.
The FBD pushes hot air upward through a bed of wet granules until the bed fluidises, drying every particle's surface simultaneously. It is typically positioned directly after a Rapid Mixer Granulator in tablet manufacturing, where fast cycle times matter.

How does an FBD compare to a Tray Dryer for granules?
Fluidised-bed drying is typically faster for free-flowing granules since hot air contacts the full particle surface, while a Tray Dryer suits material that can't be fluidised.
Can the FBD also be used for coating?
Top-spray coating attachments can be engineered as an optional configuration; confirm requirement at order stage.
